I have the n7100 but I had turned the animations completely off before I wanted to remove the home screens. I found out that turning the animations back on fixed my the problem of touchwiz force closing each time.

I wonder if the S4 CPU in it has something to due with it since it is a newer chip on the market.

Isn't the rest of the ram saved for gpu memory?

I've had problems with invisible shield to a small degree and what usually helps is letting the screen protector carefully dry for 24 hours

Just because you are an unlucky individual doesn't mean you have to tell others to stay away from HTC. I never owned anything from HTC before and think their build quality is superb. 4 years of an iPhone and the One X couldn't have been a better choice. 3 months here problem free.

I came from an iPhone of 4 years to the HoX and I too notice the period always getting in the way. I don't have fat fingers but the placement isn't practical for swift typing. I installed swiftkey 3 to solve all my problems.

Have you tried doing a factory restore to see if that would fix it? I haven't experienced one bit of flashing and I have owned the HoX for 3 months.

I use go locker and go launcher for small customizations like that. I'm on 4.0.4 if that helps.

Upgrading to 4.0.4 also gave the total memory around 100 more MB free so that definitely helps with multitasking.

Had to manually install the update, but have noticed an increase in memory, around 100~ MB. Makes everything run smoother.
