Nexus 4 Owners - Are you sure you don't have any "buzzing" or noises from the earpiece?

Re: Nexus 4 Owners - Are you 100% sure you don't have any "buzzing" or noises from the earpiece? Assuming by earpiece we mean the one built into the phone and not some earbud, then yep. No static/buzzing there.

Re: Nexus 4 Owners - Are you 100% sure you don't have any "buzzing" or noises from the earpiece? I hear some buzzing from the screen if I listen really closely with minimal ambient noise. But if I move my ear up to the speaker I hear nothing. Honestly it sounds like the sound a lot of screens make.

Why is Play Music so huge?

Mine takes up 444KB. Do you have music selected as to be stored offline? That's the only thing I can think of. Edit: Well scratch that, I reread your post. That does seem crazy.

Best way to show off your Nexus 4?

I haven't shown off a phone since when I got the iphone 3g the day it came out while in undergrad at GaTech. Then again, I haven't had a phone since then that I've actually wanted to show off.

    This takes forever!

I've wall charged mine only (except for when I unlocked the bootloader) and it goes really fast. 30-100 percent in like 2-3 hours.

    Nexus 4, Google Wallet & T Mobile

There is a new type of sim card that can possibly cause problems with NFC. I'd call and ask t-mobile to see if they can tell you whether you have an ISIS capable SIM or old school SIM. Google Wallet NFC conflict fix : nexus4

Has anyone removed the back glass yet?

I actually like the glass back, as I did on my iphone 4, but you definitely have to be careful with it sliding on smooth surfaces. I destroyed my iphone 4 (and then switched to android) by placing it on top of the toilet and it just slid right off into the toilet bowl. Still, that was 8 months...

    T-Mobile Micro Sim Question

They were going to charge me $20 for a sim card so I left. Then walmart was like the OP said. Plus they couldn't fathom the possibility of how I got a phone without a sim card lol. Darn rednecks (and I can say that since I'm southern).

-------Nexus 4 Battery Life (Horrible, Major drainage!)-------

Well, I was a little worried, but so far, its better than my HTC inspire 4g by far. 14 hours on battery (5 hours while sleeping) and currently sitting at 55%. 20 minutes of GPS was used and 1.5 hours of display. I could see if I'm on it all the time it would be a problem but for the most part I...

No mobile data when on the phone AT&T

I'm not having a problem other than slower data while talking on the phone. But that seems better than no data while talking. Will changing my APN cause that? And I'm pretty sure I have the 4g smartphone data plan. It doesn't specifically say 4g, but it says my data plan required unlimited data...

Anyone using Google Voice VOIP over data connection: what's lowest data speed it works at? (Updated)

Re: Anyone using Google Voice VOIP over data connection: what's lowest data speed it works at? That's amazing. I'm probably going to test this out on the tmobile 30 dollar plan. I would never come close to that much talk time. I'm closer to the 100 minutes actually.

No mobile data when on the phone AT&T

It is still unlimited 4g. I had this same plan on my HTC inspire 4g, so nothing had to change. Although, when I went in and they said they needed to activate my phone, I made it very clear that I wanted nothing changed to my plan. No contract renewal. No nothing. Just a sim card that would work...

No mobile data when on the phone AT&T

Data and calls work for me at the same time. I don't know if this is the reason, but when I went to ATT to get my new sim card, they needed the IMEI number. I was told it was so I could use my data plan. No idea if its true.

Anyone using Google Voice VOIP over data connection: what's lowest data speed it works at? (Updated)

Re: Anyone using Google Voice VOIP over data connection: what's lowest data speed it works at? A question I have is how data intensive is VOIP? T-mobile can start throttling speeds after 5GB which is about 3 GB more than I typically use without any VOIP.
