What you did was somewhat disable a lower limit on the core frequency of the CPU. since we do not have a custom kernel on the fascinate yet, it isn't possible to overclock (above 1 Ghz). Once we do get the kernel, expect the CPU to tucker out at about 1.2 Ghz.

As far as I can tell, I have not found a way of removing Bing from a URL search. go to the stock browser, and type in something into the URL bar (not a URL) and hit enter. I get routed through bing. does this happen to anyone else? The voice search and regular search both go through google fine...

is there any hardware/rom or anything that will stop the Fascinate from having a custom kernel? more directly: will there ever be a cyanogen mod for it?

is the bootrom of the droid 2 locked with the eFuse? and an off topic question: the roms for the Droid X do not include a custom kernel, only a custom rom, correct? the main reason for me not wanting a droid X is the bootrom, but if it applies to the droid 2 also, I may have to choose a...
