I've used the S4's camera, and no, it really is amazing. Just like the One's, the Xperia Z/ZL, etc.

Nothing is known about the Nexus 5 yet, might as well enjoy the rumor mill until some actual confirmations come out.

I think they should have stuck with Samsung. The build quality was through the roof when Samsung made the original N10, and they gave us a great value for the amount it cost. They most likely would have kept it similar in terms of build quality, since they do the same with their Galaxy devices...

I only need one external hard drive and it's one of the big ones that is powered by a wall outlet so I haven't been able to try it.

Sadly it does kind of cover over the headphone jack. If you have a small enough connector on your headphones then you can use both.

He could be talking about one of the smaller ones that doesn't have it's own power supply.

I don't think the Nexus 10 can power a hard drive. This is the cable I bought and works perfectly with flash drives and card readers.
