I have the VS980 / Verizon variant. I tried the Cloudy 1.0 Rom before. I liked it but it was sluggish at times. I dirty flashed it. I am back at stock. My question is I'm now on the latest VZW SW release. Will this rom STILL work with the G2?

I too tried this and got the ODIN screen. I've had only Motorola phones for the last 3+ years. The only reason I knew anything ABOUT Odin methods was I had a Samsung Continuum for a bit and messed with flashing with Odin.
Nevertheless I ended up flashing VRUAME7 via odin to restore the phone...
I have a Motorola Maxx HD and a Bionic and they both have been flashed to stock. I've done everything. Flashed the FXZ to the phone AND the JB update file. The phone ISN'T rooted. I unrooted prior to flashing. I need to get the phone to check for root and show a NOT ROOTED (in programming menu)...
Like HTC phones. The Continuum also uses a sliding down (albeit a bit smaller) to answer. I have problems with these screens as they pocket answer as a call comes in and I pull the phone from my pocket. I have my phone rooted. But I need to know if there is an app. Paid or free. Rooted or not...
