Bluetooth Issue After AT&T 4.3 Update

Re: Bluetooth Issue After AT&T 4.3 Update My problem is resolved. I deleted my phone from my car's connection, including the stored phone book, and when I re-added it, it worked fine.

Bluetooth Issue After AT&T 4.3 Update

Received the 4.3 update the other day, and now have Bluetooth issues with my car, a 2010 Kia Soul. It will connect, but will not download the phonebook. I get a message on my car display saying "Downloading Phonebook", but it never downloads. It occasionally pops a small message on my phone...

    Distorted Audio when recording

Bringing this to the top. I just discovered this issue, audio quality is great with the video camera, and poor with the voice recorder. I was looking for an app that uses the video mic for audio recording, but couldn't find anything. Hopefully someone will see this and have suggestions.

Frustrated with Charging the HTC One in the Car

First, a thought about chargers. I've tried many car chargers, new, used, dedicated car chargers, and plugs with USB connections. I still can't get a charger that keeps up with nav battery discharges. And yes, with each charger/charger-cable combination, I checked that the phone is charging...

Frustrated with Charging the HTC One in the Car

I'm having the same issue as TJ, have also tried many different chargers, am also familiar with the charging rates for this phone, and the USB/AC thing. My charging will not keep up when running nav. I can slow the drain by turning on Power Save, and disabling everything I can. But it still...

Please help me! (HTC Tech support was worthless)

Halizdad may have nailed it. It may be the digital rights to the music. I can't load all my collection to Google Play for that reason, and you may be facing the same issues with one of your steps. I wonder if there's freeware out there that would take care of that.

    Otterbox Defender Causing Bluetooth Echo

This has probably been discussed here, but I didn't locate much on a search so will start a new thread. I'm sold on the Otterbox Defender case, with my old iPhone 3gs I left it on top of my wife's van and she drove away. About a mile from home, traveling 45 mph, it flew off the roof of the van...

Texting from my PC & tablet

Just use GMail, you can send sms from there. Edited: Never mind, I just realized you said no Google Voice.

    car blue tooth, spotify

Personally, I'd look for a message board for your car model and search that. There will be others with the same issue. If Toyota has a technical support number you could try that also. You can try the dealership, but they may not have that information.

    car blue tooth, spotify

I have a 2010 Kia Soul, and phone Bluetooth is great, but it won't stream music through Bluetooth. Turns out that the version of Bluetooth used in my radio will not allow streaming. For my car, one year later, 2011, and it's supported. I'll bet you have a similar issue. If that's the case...

    iPhone user thinking to switch

GG - the initial poster was contemplating a move from iPhone to Android, I gave him details on my experiences, positive and negative. Most of the "necessary" tweaks are super easy, you're absolutely correct. I'm a tech-savvy person, a programmer by profession. I spend my days trying to make...

    iPhone user thinking to switch

GG - exactly. You made my point precisely. You have to be willing (and able) to make those modifications and tweaks. You obviously enjoy the process, and have a thorough understanding of the platform. Not everyone wants that same experience. With an IPhone it's not so much that you can't...

Is it ok to use a 2A charger?

Vasekvi - I just installed that widget, and I'm not sure it's accurate. I'm using the one amp HTC charger that came with my phone. There's no decimals in the display, and it's currently showing 570000 mA (plus change). I'm assuming 2 implied decimal points. This would significantly exceed the...

    iPhone user thinking to switch

I recently moved from iPhone to the HTC One. The One is a powerful and versatile unit, no question. But be prepared for what seems an unending need to tweak and customize this phone (and maybe all upper-end Android phones). You'll have to remember to click your bluetooth on and off, your wifi...

Frustrating Experience So Far - Input Desired

I haven't seen anyone mention a similar issue, so I'm going to assume it was a fluke on my phone.
