    VZW S3 intermittently saying "No SIM"

    Happened to me again on Friday, I decided to call tech support. They are sending me a new SIM. I said "Are you aware that a lot of people have this problem, it is most likely not my SIM" but the lady had no clue. I guess they'd rather keep sending SIMs than fixing the problem.

    This is strange, my phone worked fine the first few weeks in July, and now I am having all kinds of similar issues with the "No SIM" message, as well as missed calls even though I used to be able to receive calls 100% of the time before in the same area (good 4G LTE signal). What is Verizon...

    Have you needed a replacement? Why?

    We got two S3, one for my wife and one for me. Lucky since with two, you can compare performance and right away detect if something is wrong with one of them. Turns out that my wife's had a defective GPS. We kept them side by side and mine would have a lock on the signal, but hers would be off...

    Verizon messed with the WiFi Toggle in the notification area

    I would not be surprised if this was a "feature" and not a bug. I noticed a number of reports on wifi switching problems in the GSM SGS3 forums. this may just be the workaround that Samsung and Verizon decided to implement in order to prevent the bug in the Wifi toggle.

    The toggle buttons at the top can scroll, are you sure there's no wi-fi button on the right?
