Hello everyone. A few days ago I put my Samsung Galaxy S5 in the water. Soon after the accelerometer, gyroscope, lights sensor, proximity sensor, and magnetic sensor have stopped working. I put it in rice and have checked 1-2 times a day for the past 2 days to see if the sensors start working...

The same thing happened to me to but I put my phone in water intentionally. I put it in dry rice overnight and all my sensors worked again. I'd recommend to have your phone in the rice for a few days though. You wouldn't want to risk your device. Hope this helped :D
