    Stiff keyboard

It's normal. The build quality from Motorola is supreme, and you can feel it with the new D3 phones. I've had the OG Droid and the Droid 2, and they will "break-in" after a while and feel a bit smoother, but at the rate that you wont even notice that its smoother until you try a brand new D3...

    dumb question time

Well, I guess to put it simply, Verizon doesn't regulate the WIFI usage on your phone. It's just like a laptop in the sense that, if you find your WIFI connection available, you can connect to it. If yours is secured, then you'll have to enter the key/password to access your WIFI. Same goes for...

To put it into perspective: Battery Statistics Current Percentage: 50% Time on battery: 4 hours, 23 minutes, 23 seconds. Cell Standby: 23% Wi-Fi: 21% Phone Idle: 18% Android OS: 12% Display: 9% (WOW.. that's at 50% brightness!) Voice calls: 8% Social location: 4% Android System: 3% Maps: 3%...

    Droid 3 coming Tuesday

You can leave a note for FedEx or UPS to put the package in a certain place. For example, I had my delivered yesterday, but was not home to sign. So I typed a note saying I release my signature for the package with tracking number, then I instructed the delivery driver to kindly leave the...

    Droid 3 cost?

Yeah, it's a Worry-Free guarantee. For 14 days, you are eligible to cancel your contract and return the device. Rather than canceling and reinstating a new one or whatever, the contract is still within its probation period such that you can practically get any device for it's 2 year commitment...

Hands On Experience with the D3

The "Droid 3" hasn't been officially released as of yet. The date is July 14th for in-store release. Some people at the Motorola Support forums were speculating that it's just a matter of time for Google to update their system with the "Droid 3" device in order for the proper version of Google...

    Motorola Droid Photoshoot

You'll be impressed, as I was, with the build quality and the feel of this phone. The 4" screen does a difference over previous droids, and the form factor feels very nice in the grip on my hand. The new motoblur UI is nice, and everything runs smooth with live wallpaper, etc. And just to...

Hands On Experience with the D3

Video chat via GOOGLE TALK is not operational yet. It must be some google thing to enable it when its officially released. The front camera does work, and I've heard (yet to confirm) that the front camera works with other third-party apps.

Droid 3 User Here to answer Questions

+1 After playing around with the phone for a while now, it appears to have gotten "faster" and "smoother". Perhaps from getting over the initialization phase and syncing the cache. Either way, it appears to be a very solid phone all around. :)

    Instructions: Hard Reset/Recovery Menu

Before it's asked, I figured I would post some instructions on how to enter the recovery menu during boot-up so that you can perform a factory reset. 1. Press and hold PWR + X key until "Dual Core" is displayed. 2. Releasing those keys (PWR + X) should display a Triangle with the Android dude...

    Removing bloatware?

We gotta wait until we get rooted. Usually doesn't take too long, so be patient. Then we can begin to remove apps and stuff.

Droid 3 User Here to answer Questions

Hey Guys, So I am a previous owner of the original Droid, then I got the Droid 2, and today I have the Droid 3. So my question is, what would you like to know? Any questions, suggestions, etc. that I may be able to provide?

    How is the new motoblur

So far it's pretty quick. It's the best so far. Once we get root and can remove some of that bloatware and such, this thing will be like lightning. lol
