Google searched it and came across a Reddit thread about the new beta. Looked through the comments and came across folks having this issue and some how, some way someone figured it out. I saw an article on Droid-Life (posted yesterday) that the update had been pulled due to this issue. Edited...

It happened to me on my pixel 9 Pro XL. Turns out it has to do with desktop experience being enabled under developer settings, once I turn that off I was able to update with no problem.

When you plug into a monitor it gives you a computer like setup. Kinda like Samsung's DEX ... Only worse LOL. Google's approach just doesn't seem as polished ... Which is why I guess they buried it in the developer settings. I hope Google improves it and makes it a standard feature ... I used to...
