It finally happened, I dropped my phone and cracked the glass :'( . After looking into ATT's insurance and deciding I don't want the headache I read about so many people dealing with with Asurion, and then seeing local phone shops want $200+ to replace the glass, I think I'm going to do it...

Re: Mdnsd killing battery The people in the discussion at the bugzilla link I posted above seem to thing the latest release 42.0.2 has fixed this. I re-installed and will confirm it fixed if I find it to be.

Re: Mdnsd killing battery I did some searching and found that the problem is with Firefox. I uninstalled firefox and the service hasn't run since. That really chaps my *** because I hate chrome and now I'm stuck using it until Mozilla fixes this bug...

Re: Update fails The battery usage monitor miraculously resolved itself. I noticed that the album art no longer is full screen when playing music or podcasts (I like this) and that the ATT hotspot app is gone and it's now all in the settings menu (weird). No performance or battery life...

Update fails Tried to do the push update that just came out, and it failed. Twice. Phone reboots, goes into recovery for a few seconds, then just continues booting and tells me the update could not be installed. Any ideas? SM-G900A Android 5.0 Baseband G900AUCU4BOF3 Kernal 3.4.0-4432708...

Unhappy with this update so far. The new color scheme is gaudy, bright orange messages screen, seriously? White background with neutral gray or green text (active) on the alarm screen? Poor visibility! I have to look closely to see what days alarms are active on. Why is there no option to change...
