Finally received the case today and here's some pics and initial impression of it.. Hardshell section is very snug for the nexus 7, good fit and as can be seen the cutouts for the power button and volume buttons are accurate. The hole on the opposite side is catered for as well. The bottom fits...

i encountered random sounds too. but only when i put the phone down on the table, this happens occasionally and I've not been able to replicate the behaviour. when i unlock the phone after hearing the random sound, there's no notification at all. has anyone else encountered something similar?:-\

i've encountered something similar. occasionally when i put my phone on the table after using, i get some unidentifiable notification sounds. it persists for about 5-7 seconds and then stops. I'm not able to replicate this consistently but it does happen pretty frequently. so far i've not...
