Is there any way of sorting this issue out

Thanks for all the answers. Sometimes if I am out let's say, I dont have a choice to " let my battery run down " or not . Its sometimes unavoidable. And it's a warning sign of a water droplet and a cross through it with the charger cable

When my samsung s9+ fully runs out of power for some reason it comes up with the water damage logo when any cable is connected to charge it. The wireless still works to charge. As soon as it reaches 1% it will then charge with any of the cables I have been using? Why might this be ? As if...
