It's not the charger.....it's the CORD. Get a QUALITY cord. I've been through many cords but the same charger. The plug end going into the tablet is sacrificial, and wears out. Don't get a dollar store cord. .......they can't take the juice of a tablet's charging current requirement.

I tried to replace the batt on my first Tab S.....but bricked it. It doesn't seem to want to turn on again.....and that tablet was only 7 months old. Then I bought another Tab S and when it started doing the same thing the first one did, that's when I realized the charging problem was actually...

Just an fyi.......The Walmart 2A charger/cable (that WAS made by Samsung.....but for a phone i believe)......the charger itself would indicate per the tablet that the "charger was incorrect". So I didn't use this charger. But the heavier 2A cable solved my problem. This is the THIRD Samsung...

It's the cable, trust me. The quuckest solution is to go to Walmart and buy a Samsung 2A charger kit.....and just use the cable. These were selling recently for around $7. DON'T buy the cheap dollar store cables....they can't carry enough current and would be no better than what you have now...

It appears that the battery is simply wearing out. Higher batt resistance equates to longer charging time and quicker depletion.

I'll NEVER buy the Tab S2 because of the lesser screen resolution, crappy aspect ratio, and most of all....the puny battery. I'm all android, but if I had to choose between the iPad or S2, I'd pick the apple in this instance.

When the aspect ratio on some devices causes the picture to not fill the screen real estate....(black bars), it would seem that should be adjustable.

Forgive my ignorance....but WHY cannot a tablet have an adjustable aspect ratio? Among other things, I refuse to "upgrade" to the Tab S2 because I like watching movies on my Tab S.
