    Press the button to choose from open apps (the same place you choose close all apps) but choose the menu button and choose lock apps. Lock the tile app.

    Actually Verizon is immuned to Nexus as my galaxy nexus never even got Kit Kat not to mention we were always last on jelly bean updates.

    How do I get 2 apps open at the same time, and each take up half the screen?

    first you have to make sure that both apps that you open are able to be resized. then open one app, in the hold down the back button and then choose another app, then take the app that's on the front and drag it to the top of the screen. hope that helps.

    Lockscreen Weather

    The Yahoo app allows you to choose weather pictures in your wallpaper screen. Doesn't show the temperature, just shows clear skies or rain or fog etc. Long click on home screen choose wallpaper then in lock screen choose weather.

    OCR is so handy for documents at work or even taking a picture of your Wi-Fi password on your cable box so you won't have to type it in (and write it down). I created a folder to access action memos and saved notes. I like drawing in pictures too.

    You can download a panel called edgeboard faves. It's similar but it includes recent programs. I use it though
