A friend has the new basic Fire tablet (the $50 one) and thinks he can output to his TV. I can do that from my phone (MHL port) but I don't believe his Fire will output with either an MHL or a micro-HDMI adapter. I suggested if this is critical for him, return it and we can find him a tablet or...
