I have a TMobile LG G4 with exactly the same problem, mine apeares to have occured after a T-Moble software upgrade, woke up one morning with the phone in a rolling boot as you discribed. It is now sitting on the desk collecting dust. Would love to find a way to resurect it, anyone else...
