I also came from the Tour and I don't regret it at all. I thought I would miss the keyboard but I actually got used to the virtual keyboard fairly quickly. This phone is just so quick and fun to use, the blackberry is just boring in comparison.

I don't think you can, it's red when the battery is low, orange when its charging and green for notifications. Would be cool to get color variety according to different notifications though.

My phone rebooted for the 2nd time. Was just sitting on my desk and I saw the HTC logo come up, wasn't even on the phone when it rebooted. I don't have bluetooth or wifi enabled. Could it be a program that is causing it?

You can just hit the menu button and add location and search for where you want to add.

I tried out the automatic brightness part for a few days and switched to the one bar on the widget and noticed an increase in battery life. At one bar on the widget the screen was plenty bright for me, automatic was draining my battery a bit more than I wanted it to.
