I have an unlocked Nexus 5 that I had on sprint, but I'm now with Consumer Cellular. When I try all other suggestions on APN settings to get LTE to work, I seem to just get 2G. The H icon goes away and I don't have an internet connection. I have waited for 10 minutes to see if it would establish...

I do live in the US and I called Asus up and they gave me a RMA number to ship it to them where they said it should be serviced or replaced. I just hate to give it up, since I already have everything set up.

Since it was a "gifted" Nexus 7 and not bought on the Play Store, they directed me to Asus. Calling them now.

Well, yesterday was the first real humid day since I got my Nexus 7 and sure enough, my screen started to show the same symtoms as the other defective screens (the adhesive not sticking properly). Going to call Google today and see what I can do. I hope I can get a replacement.

I really hope it's going to be made by HTC, but all the rumor articles I've read say it's going to be Samsung again. I think of HTC as luxury smart phone manufacturers. haha

Thanks for the replies! I will probably end up going through Asus if I have problems since I believe even if it was bought through the play store, I'll need to be signed into the same account it was bought with in order to get the replacement? Can anyone confirm if this is true?

So I bought a SEALED Nexus 7 16gb last week off ebay and so far I haven't noticed anything wrong with it and I'm hoping it isn't defective. If it ends up being defective, am I just done for since I ordered it off ebay? or is there a way to get a replacement device? Thanks in advance.
