    GPS Issues?

Just a quick update to my previous posts, my Nexus 4 GPS has been behaving just fine since it magically started working. I recently took a long trip under its guidance and it was working as expected as well. As I said, previously my tmobile prepaid service did not have data (so turned off data...

HSPA+ 42 data speed on Tmobile.

I did a few tests on my nexus 4 (tmo network) and was getting roughly 10Mbps download. This is not bad, but I was hoping for the HSPA+42 speed;-). I am in Fremont CA area and my 'status' shows a "mobile network type" of HSPA:10. What is everybody getting for that value? How does one get HSPA+42:-)?

I don't think there is one. I have not seen any trace of it after playing with it for a couple of weeks.

    GPS Issues?

Nah, it is not the satellites or the bad weather in Northern Cal. I had my iphone and nexus 4 side by side and did the tests. My iphone was always instantaneous locking to the satellite and the nexus 4 kept at 'searching for gps'. But I am happy now that the nexus 4 is behaving.

Thanks for the information. Could you share how the RMA process worked with google? I've been spoiled by apple, and the fact that google does not even have any physical store makes me nervous...

    GPS Issues?

I have similar GPS issue as well on my brand new Nexus 4. If I let it, it would stay on 'searching for GPS' for an hour (at least it feel like). The only work-around I have so far is to turn off locating service and turn it back on. My wife is already trying to rub it in by saying 'apple never...
