I have ADB installed on my PC. USB debugging is enabled on the phone. ADB devices shows the device and shows it as authorized. When I enter adb backup filefoldername I get a black screen on the phone that asks me to authorize the backup. However NONE OF THE BUTTONS to authorize or reject...

I can't read the displays now, white backgrounds kill my eyes, and grey backgrounds with insufficient resolution for text are even worse. The fonts are smaller and obviously lower resolution, I can't read that either. The whole phone looks like it has a grey screen over it, everything is muddy...

I've had it with Google Maps. The most recent "update" has resulted in a return of a bug where GMaps takes itself out of direction mode for no apparent reason (and without being touched). Also, there is no control over the voice, which is now so fast that I cannot understand her more than half...

No joy. Just one more reason to hate data phones - this propensity they have for "upgrading" software without notification, let alone asking. And in just the time it took to test the voice, it ran the battery down from 71% to 58%. There is something REALLY wrong with this so-called update.

I can't find that, in either the phone settings or settings inside google maps. Am I looking in the wrong places? NM - I found that setting, it is under My Devices. But Google maps doesn't use it. I have it set to slow. I tried changing it to very slow and Google Maps is still going a mile...

Apparently they "upgraded" Google maps for this phone over the weekend because the interface has totally changed and the voice is talking way WAY too fast now. Does anybody know how I can slow her down? I can't find a setting for this, only for volume.:'(
