Samsung is killing me. I was able to set her tablet to static so it would connect but I definitely wait and find out what is causing this. Would a factory reset change anything?

That was unbelievably easy. I spent hours rooting my old moto backflip and all of 3 seconds on step 1 to root my epic. Great job guys
