My device does not have the Facebook, Facebook Messenger, or WhatsApp. So when I uninstalled Face Slim, it didn't solve the problem. What helped me was disabling Direct Share mode in the setting. If someone else is reading this, you might try that. My device is LG V20 Android 8.0.0.

I also don't use Facebook app. So I looked and I figured out that my problem lied in the "Direct Share" feature. I turned it off and, voila, I no longer has the issue. My device is LG V20 running Android 8.0.0
