Just transferred my phone from a Triumph to EVO 4G. I'm getting the 131 error. I'm on my second call to VM support. I've tried everything in this thread and nothing works so far. :/

Same problem here. I've tried the cynogen mod fix but that doesn't work. No idea what to do at this point. I was gonna return the phone for a new one... I did call vm and they supposedly fixed a data setting.. my 3g is faster now but still cuts out. Sent from my LG Optimus V using Tapatalk

That is weird. I wonder if you are having a different issue than the rest of us. Our MMS issues have been caused by switching to non VM rom's that cant handle VM's stupid MMS implementation.

So it stopped working after you tried a CM7 rom? Going back to a stock backup didn't help?

Great work! I can't believe virgin has made MMS so complicated! You will be my hero if you figure this out.
