[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

I knew I'd reconnect with you one of these days, John. It's Pat. Been a minute. What's good? I still have your house music library on one of my external drives here somewhere. This thread will always live in the Galaxy Nexus forum in my mind...

Lack of storage space on my Galaxy s7

I believe that the system data takes up 7-9GB of space by default on the S7, depending on your software version and device model (i.e. carrier-specific vs. unlocked). That 17.8GiB figure is definitely high, unless I'm forgetting something. B. Diddy has your back.

I know the feeling. Where's the weekend when you need it? What's good, chatter?

    Google Pixel 3 / 3 XL 2018

I really like how the black bar on the back has a margin between it and the edges of the phone. It reminds me a lot of the Nexus 6P, which I'm still using (and looking to replace). I dislike the hard switch in material on the back of the current Pixels.

Does the Nexus 6p have an HDMI output?

I'm pretty sure the 6P doesn't support it, though you'll certainly find misleading information even directly from Google: The Nexus team says no during their AMA, the Google Store tweets that it does work, and then Google Support backs up the tweet.

Nvidia Shield 2 tablet is CANCELLED!! :( The tablet market is pretty much DEAD!!!

I use my Pixel C every day; the long battery life makes it a great companion to the Nexus 6P with a hotspot. The fourth N preview build serves it well, especially with multi-window support, but I'm thinking of trying out Remix OS soon.

Is it Possible to Add GPS to Pixel C

You might be able to use an external Bluetooth GPS device, like this Garmin GLO unit, but I don't have one to test with my Pixel C. As Jerry alluded to, Android supports several location providers (WiFi, cellular, GPS, Bluetooth, etc.), but is ultimately limited by the device's hardware...

Android N should get rid of the back button.

The whole physical/capacitive keys vs. softkeys debate is another matter, but at least we can dismiss the navbar if Immersive Mode is implemented where appropriate... though if we're talking about a display size equal to that of the iPhone SE, the lost screen real-estate might be more of an...

    6P Camera for vacations?

I was in Tanzania last year, and even with an all-inclusive limitation of 19lbs of gear per person, I still chose to bring along 11lbs of Canon gear (body, wide-angle, super-telephoto, tele-converter, double battery grip, extra batteries, chargers, power adapters, a Nexus 7, USB OTG adapter with...

Things You Don't Like About The 6P?

Sure, all sensors are affected by it -- I'm just saying my personal experience is that it seems to affect the 6P's well before the one on my 5S. It's hardly a scientific comparison, and I did return the first 6P I got for unrelated display and fingerprint sensor grounding issues, so take it...

Things You Don't Like About The 6P?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but those features were later available on the Moto X through Moto Assist... which they've discontinued for Marshmallow+ users because: While I'm familiar with the Moto X models, I haven't personally used them for extended periods of time where I'd be commuting with it...
