Thanks for trying to help guys. Since I can't find any useful information elsewhere regarding this, I'm going to make an educated guess and assume it's a pause button for the app since I see many apps in the store having this feature.

I've google searched the problem before. There's no discussion on it and no documentation explaining in detail what it exactly is. :(

My app got rejected from Samsung's app store because it didn't pause on "Hold mode". Anyone familiar with Samsung devices know what this is? Is this a programmatically implemented feature or some special hardware event I have to capture? :-\

They've contacted me again. I'm going to accept their offer and see how it turns out.

No contact from Nevron after I sent my apk file to them. They said they would test the app and send me a contract if works, and ask me to fix it if it doesn't. The app that I modified for use on the android stb had a few bugs remaining, so I had at least expected a word back from them...

I couldn't log in my developer account myself. I think they're currently having problems with their servers. :-\
