Alternative Launcher is going to be your best friend. This is a common complaint with each version of Androids OS. In the future they may unlock more features. But for now change your launcher

Re: Galaxy S4 after upgrading to Lollipop..... This actually may be more related to the apps them selves. And them needing more fine tweaking on the developer side of the house. I doubt its an issue with your phone or lollipop

Did you just do an upgrade? I have had to completely wipe my phone and then upgrade. Then restore my content for it to work properly

Honestly I find android nice since its very open. But there is always tons of bugs. And honestly they should do more research/testing/and debugging before release.

Re: battery problem Is that 4 hours of continuous use? Or just on and off? For continuous use that could be normal but for on and off. That is horrible

I plan to as soon as my friends use it for a week or two. And I see that it is very stable. Sometimes these upgrades are not so reliable from my experiences
