I submitted my claim for the gear vr on the 21st. I included my target receipt as well as my pre-order email confirmation. Just got an email from samsung saying that the date of the purchase doesn't qualify. Has anyone run into issues?

Finally got mine today after getting an email after work. The staff there were pretty clueless as to how to handle my pre-order. I dont think they processed it as a pre-order but as a normal purchase. I have a feeling I am going to have to contact them in a few weeks for the giftcard.

took my original n7 back for exchange on 10/1 and got a $50 giftcard for my troubles. With today's news, I guess I have to return it for something else. Does anyone know if i could just go through my carrier instead (VZ)?

Just called my local Sam's Club and the associate stated that they won't get shipment until sometime next week. She also stated that you cannot return it (after the 14 days from the purchase date) unless I wanted to switch it to a S7. Has anyone else heard this? This doesn't make sense to me.

there's a new promotion for the new note 7s? I dont see it on their website.
