    Hi there,

Firstly, huge apologies if I am posting this in the wrong place or if this thread has been done before but I brought a Q8H 7inch Tablet PC (android version 4.4.2 and firmware version 4.4v2.0) as a Christmas present for my daughter just as a cheap tablet to play some games on. It was advertised as having 8gb of memory and is now telling me after installing only a few apps there is no more memory...

After going into the storage settings I can see that the internal memory is in 2 separate partitions, with everything apparently being saved on the smaller of the partitions. It is telling me I still have 5.97 GB of storage available but I am unable to access it.

Is there anything I can do to use this memory? I hope I have explained this correctly, my knowledge with Android is very limited, but please let me know if you need any further info...

    Thank you for your help!

Welcome to Android Central! The short answer is no, there's nothing you can do about that low amount of memory. This is one of the major disadvantages of cheap devices. Review this guide for more info: http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...-warnings.html
