USB-Tethering and the LG-P500

Hi,

well today I got my P500 (my old phone is like 6 years old and from stone age) and I had immense trouble of finding working USB drivers to use it with my PC (WINDOWS XP SP3). But after successfully finding the anwser here on the boards I?ve met another disturbing problem.

I just can?t figure out why my Optimus can?t use the internet connection of my PC when linked up via USB.

I DID activate the USB-Debugging Mode and also the USB-Tethering Mode but it still doenst work...

So if anyone can help please do

USB tethering is for your computer to use your phones internet connection, it doesn't work the other way around. I remember around 6 years ago I had a PDA that could access the internet from my PC but now with WIFI and 4G this is virtually unheard of. You don't have a wireless router I take it.
