Need help rooting unknown tablet

I recently purchased a tablet off someone and have been unable to find really thinking about it. For the most part I really just want to be able to root it but if thre's roms for it that would really be great too. I searched and search and haven't been able to find anything. I tried gingerbreak and z4root and both didn't work for me.

They claim that the tablet is:

Nevermind I was able to root it.

I have the same tablet, and it was SUPPOSED to be rooted when I bought it, but no such luck. I have no documentation or anything, and it just boots to the first green screen with the little robot, then to a gray screen and says "android" in the middle. It looks like it is booting, but it gets stuck there and never changes. Any suggestions?
