    Why Wi-Fi only tablets are rare: Brilliant iPad pricing | ZDNet

    This fellow suggests that Apple deliberately set the price of the iPad, especially the wifi iPad, low to make market entry tough for competitors. Interesting idea, though I wish he had some facts to support his theory. But since Apple is involved, hard data is going to be tough to come by!

    I still have in the back of my mind that what is needed to break things open a bit is an Amazon Android tablet! And the latest news about Apple taking a larger cut of app content sales (if it is applied to Kindle books as has been suggested) may help make that happen!
