Enterprise Helpdesk Support Advice

I run a small helpdesk that support Windows XP and Windows 7 for a large company. Now we're looking at taking on support of Android tablets. I really need advice on what I should say my helpdesk needs to support these devices. Especially in the areas where Android may be different from Windows Devices.

We need to be able to remotely access the device with something like Tivoli. We need to be able to do device password resets. We need to be able to remotely lock the device. What problems will we encounter? All of my helpdesk agents use Windows XP and Windows 7 desktop PCs if that matter.

And when the company is selecting WHICH Android device, can someone help provide a list of capabilities that we require to manage these devices while they are in the field?

Please help!
