Anyone pick up the Huawei Ascend XT on Black Friday?

Wal-Mart had the Ascend XT on Black Friday for $49. I was just wondering if anyone picked this up and what are your thoughts on the phone? I got one and it seems like a good phone. It is a big phone with a 6 inch screen.

Yes, got mine yesterday and am concerned that the battery seems to drain fast. I have turned off wifi and all unnecessary apps etc.
Also the call quality is almost muffled. Am considering returning it.. have not decided yet.
Kept it a few days and returned it. Battery drained fast and it overheated and call quality awful

Give it more than a day to see how the battery does. That first day or two you usually spend a lot more time setting things up the way you like it and the battery always runs down quicker. I get a good solid day or so out of mine and that's about all you can expect out of smartphones nowadays.

I got it for a backup phone as we have six phones on our plan and we always try to keep a spare or two handy in case of the inevitable.
