Hi all.

Recently my microphone has stopped working during video calls (whatsapp & Facebook) on my Huawei Nova 3i. My google assistant has also stopped responding to my voice.
Microphone works on standard voice calls using my network provider so I'm guessing it's settings issue but no idea what.
Recently reset phone and restored, but worried I restored the issue when restored settings from backup.

Doing my head in.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Video calls and Google Assistant often use the secondary mic, which is at the top of the phone. Make sure that mic opening isn't blocked (e.g., by a poorly fitting case, or clogged by lint).

Thank you for the promp reply B. Diddy, I was not aware of the secondary mic. Will attempt to clean after work. Let you know how I go.
