Mind you my battery life is normal and fine, but the % indication suddenly (and without warning) started reading wrong. I forgot my charger on a trip and shut it off over night to make it last as long as possible. When i started it back up it now reads 100% when full and 87% when empty.

I have left it to die, done everything i know to do to reset the indicator, but to no avail. I did a factory reset. Got AW 2.0, installed it, did another factory reset, but it still declines from 100% to 87% and is then dead.

Like i say, battery life itself is unaffected. With always on, it lasts all day and is dead early evening, like it always was, with always on turned off it lasts a couple days.

    Any one got any ideas?

    TIA

What watch face are you using? If you switch watch faces it may end up being the watch face that isn't working with the 2.0.

Thanks for the thoughts. Not the watch face, as i have changed it up several times and the reading from inside the phone "wear" app are the same. The problem started before 2.0. Its been days now and there remains no change. I put in a support ticket with moto, got an acknowledgment received by them, but nothing further....

My watch was doing this just before the battery died. I sent it back to Motorola and they replaced it under the extended warranty. They said it was an indication the battery was going

They were right. I ignored the bad reading until the battery started lasting less than a day. I contacted Motorola and they also replaced mine.

I've noticed the same thing with my watch. It shows 100% when fully charged, and drops down to maybe 90% when it dies (after 36 hrs). So, battery life is the same, just the percent indicator is not.

What's the cost to have Motorola change the battery?

They did the same for me back in May. Now I won't leave my watch on the charger once it reaches 100% which is what is killing the battery in the first place. Replacement batteries can be found on Amazon and cost around $30 and videos are available on YouTube on how to swap it out.
