I'm disappointed to hear we won't be getting the Oreo update for the Moto 360 2nd gen. My watch is working fine currently, but I know that eventually the OS will become outdated and unusable with current apps.

Yeah that was a bit disheartening. Guess at some point I'll be in the market for a new watch. The gear series looks nice but I'd prefer to stay Android Wear.

As long as they don't screw up the 2.X devices, I could care less about it. I will continue to use my 46mm as long as I can. I just use it as a wrist buzz notification window for gmail and android messages.

If they terminate the old 2.X devices I am thinking full blown android 5.1 is my next option.... Lemfo or Kingwear and just use it as a bluetooth connected device. The Borg mother ship seems to leave those alone.

In the same boat. Just bought the Huawei 2 classic for $200 from Best buy as my replacement for the Moto 360 2nd gen.
