Just started today, my SD card unmounts itself occasionally. I thought about formatting it but I can't find the command. Thought it would be under settings storage, but all I have is erase, mount and unmount. Maybe my card is giving up? Can I format it with my computer? If so what is the format? I'm using Linux so I have several choices.

Formatted my card and I've only had one issue with it unmounting. Still I've ordered a new card just in case.

New card for about 4 days now without a single unintended un-mount. I'm putting the blame on a bad sd card.
