Pokemon GO keeps crashing on my Moto E5?

[Android Central Question]

I have recently downloaded Pokemon GO on my Moto E5 to play with friends and every time I launch it it loads slowly and plays slowly until within 2 minutes it completely crashes. Is it an issue between the phone and the app or just the phone?

Welcome to the forums. Pokémon Go is discontinuing support on 32-bit Android devices, so this is probably the cause of your problems.

The SoC in your Moto E5 is 64-bit but the ROM is only 32-bit, same happens with other Moto devices.
