I know I don't sound like a 7-year Android veteran, but I can't seem to find a way how.

I have a 2020 Moto E.

Are you using the 3- or 2-button navigation? (I'm not sure if you can use gesture navigation using Nova on non-Pixel phones, so let me know if you're using gesture instead.)

With gestures, I swipe up a little from the bottom of the screen until I feel a little haptic feedback -- at that point, you should see one of the recent apps peek in from the left side. Release your finger from the screen, and you should then be in the Recent Apps, where you can scroll horizontally.

You can use the navigation button, create a widget or set a Nova gesture. You can find this option in Nova actions.

Moto phones didn't allow navigation gestures while using a third party launcher. I'm not sure if they have changed this limitation in recent updates or in the models already running Android 11.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering about.
