Moto G: Motorola Camera vs. Google Camera

Google released their own camera app today. Here's a quick comparison.

Motorola Camera:

Google Camera:

Looks like Motorola crops so the image comes out to 16:9.

Thanks for this. I prefer the Google Camera shot. It's sharper and the colours are better. I prefer the Motorola app though. Google Camera doesn't appear to have an HDR mode.

yeah the Google Camera does have the option - select the three wee dots down the bottom right hand side of the screen

Doesn't look like the Moto G gets the Photo Sphere and Panorama features in the Google Camera.

The lens blur feature appears to be good though. Couldn't see panaroma :-(
