    Help!

the volume button is stuck on my moto g (2013).

My phone is now stuck in flash mode. I don't know how to get around without the use of the volume button. I can move down, but I can't move up or select any choices.

How can I move around flash mode to normal boot without the volume button.

How can I fix the volume button?

    Help O wise ones!

Welcome to Android Central! You should be able to force a power down by pressing and holding the power button for about 15 seconds. Then power on as usual, and hopefully the stuck volume button won't interfere with the normal boot.

Is the volume button physically stuck, or does it click as usual but not do anything? If it's physically stuck, try using some rubbing alcohol to see if it can dissolve any residue that might be gunking things up.

It's physically stuck. I'll try rubbing alcohol. I don't think it's gunk though. I dropped it. (right after I ordered a new indestructible case for it that hasn't arrived yet).

Also, I tried the power button for much longer than 15 seconds. Didn't seem to work.

Right now, the phone is stuck in Flashboot Flash Mode. The options are Boot Normally, Recovery, Factory, Barcodes, BP Tools, and QCom.

Without the volume button, its very difficult to move the highlighted field at all, or select Normal Powerup. That's what's highlighted now though

I think your only way of trying to fix the volume button is to take the phone apart. But to prevent further damage, I'd suggest you bring it to a phone repair shop to get that done.
