New Moto G model pops up sporting LTE and larger battery | Android Central

There's no telling when this particular model will make its appearance, but it looks as if the LTE model will be packing a 2390mAh battery — slightly larger than the original's 2070mAh offering.

I don't think that slight increase in battery will outweigh the hit it will take from the LTE. I like my moto g as it is

If it comes to the US with band 12 for T-Mobile it will be worth it. I don't need LTE speeds, but I need the coverage the low band spectrum brings.

I don't see a huge difference between 3g and LTE on T-Mobile. This is because of their HSPA+ upgraded 3G network. Moto G 2014 feels very fast for streaming media and surfing the net.

HSPA+ or Evolved High Speed Packet Access, is a souped-up version of HSUPA and HSDPA 3G standards with speeds comparable to the newer LTE networks. Theoretical speeds are said to feature download speeds up to*168Mbps*and uplink of*22Mbps.
