I downloaded 50 songs from windows 8 on to moto g 2014. Only 8 show up on my google music. When I plug in my phone, via usb, to my pc and look at my sd card on my phone it shows all 50 songs have been loaded up. So I go back and download other songs to sync to my phone and only some load up . But again it shows that they are in my phone when I look at my phone files on my pc. If they all really on my phone where are they? It is easy to drag and drop and all seems to go as planed but something isn't working right. Now I find the same thing has happened on my Nexus 7.

Are all your files non-protected MP3? If not, that's why you might not see them in the stock player.

Yes they are non-protected. I just now cleared my data, up dated google play music, refreshed music, cleared cache, i reinstalled google play music, and then I picked a few songs and no go. We I first started this process it went great then for some reason it stopped working. I haven't done anything different .

Still odd that your Music Player is not 'seeing them' automatically... :S
