My wife's Moto G (2014) running 4.4.4. locked up while using her Buzzfeed app today. After holding the power button for a few seconds to force a reboot it has gone into a reboot loop (Moto logo, reboot, Moto logo, reboot...). I've spent a few hours tonight on Google and YouTube trying to find out how to restore it but just can't seem to get it to work. I did the Vol down + Power sequence and connected to my PC. I've been trying to use mfastboot with the extracted firmware but I'm missing adbwinapi.dll. I've had no luck installing that either.
Can someone please help or point me to a quality/thorough tutorial on fixing this thing?
