Why isn't my stylus pen working most of the time?

stylus pen won't work most the time.

I bought a new case for my motorolla g 2nd generation, and it came with a stylus pen.
It was working great for the first month or so, now it gets harder to use it, and even not working at all such as today. Any idea or recommendations for repairing it? I use it to text on my phone, as well as use it on the foxfire kindle. I really could use some good
ideas fast.

Welcome to Android Central! Is the nub wearing down? If the rubber has worn down, revealing plastic underneath, that usually won't activate the touchscreen.
