Moto G 2014 stuck on boot screen HELP please

My phone just turned itself off and is now stuck on the the boot screen with the blue Motorola logo. I have wiped cache partition and done factory reset and both have done nothing. Thanks in advance for any help

Are you able to hard boot into recovery mode?

Press and hold the Volume Down and Up buttons simultaneously then press the Lock/Power button for a few seconds. This should restart your Moto G to a black screen with a boot menu.
You can then select boot options using the volume down button and press the Volume Up button to choose your selection.
If your device can reach this point I recommend trying the Normal Powerup option first to see if things go back to normal.
