Not getting 3G or 4G signals on my Moto G 3rd Gen

I have recently moved to US from India for my work. I have Moto G 3 purchased in India and was using 4G there. Here, I have signed up for T-Mobile and from the first day, I am not getting any 3G or 4G network.

Someone, please help.

That maybe all you get... The band/frequency support of the Moto G 2015 XT1550 (Indian model) does not work with T-Mobile except at 2G. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

AT&T has SOME 850 Mhz 3G in the US that is compatible, but I do not know how wide-spread it is used in what markets, all the other frequencies your device supports are not used in the US.

4G LTE: Band 2 (1900 MHz), Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz), Band 12 (700 MHz)

Is there any way the band can be unlocked?

Changing carriers won't work, the best you could get would be basic 3G (not HSDPA) on AT&T, but like I said, the frequency your device supports is not in all markets.

Due to the fact your hardware is different (dual SIM model) you can't use US firmware and radios, so unfortunately you are stuck replacing your phone to 3G or better service reliably.

Even i face the same issue but i got 4G when i went to Vancouver,Canada recently.If it is supposed to be a problem with my phone i shouldnt have got 4G at all. Isnt that right?

Actually, it just means you found a carrier who uses a band supported by your phone... 850Mhz bands are more common in Canada then the US.

There is still no way to unlock bands in the Moto G3 or other 3rd generation and newer Moto devices...

Actually, this problem is probably worse now than before, as carriers in the US are shutting down their 2G networks to reuse the bandwidth for 4G/5G deployments. AT&T (the only US carrier supporting 850Mhz GSM) shut down their 2G networks about 6 months ago.
