    I have a moto g3t.

In short- - I tried to clean my jack and then pressed my connectors tip hard against one of the connector in the jack. Is it broken? Can i fix it myself?

    Detailed here-
Lately My headset's mic was not working so I thought that it might be the dust or lint in the jack. I took a needle and wound it with thread completely and then cleaned it gently but nothing happened. So i took my jack and used its tip to press hard against the top connector of the jack(I was pissed).

At first no audio was coming from neither speaker nor the headset. Then I restarted my phone. The audio came fine from the speaker but the jack seems to ignore my headset and play the audio from the speaker itself.

Can i do anything regarding it or do I have to get its jack replaced?

Welcome to the forums. Without being able to physically look at the jack I don't know how we'd determine whether it is broken. Can you see the contacts inside with a light? Do they look intact? Have you tried another set of headphones?
