Cricket: "Incompatible Phone" message

I was trying to purchase a Cricket SIM for my third gen Moto G (XT1540). When I try to use the IMEI tool on their website I receive a "incompatible phone" message, and so it won't let me purchase a SIM. I have tried chatting with a rep, but they always seem useless and completely unhelpful. I don't see why the phone would not work with them. Anyone else using Cricket? Any problems? Thank you.

Perhaps the phone is not yet in their list of devices? I've got a Straight talk SIM in mine, no problems.

You can always get a Cricket sim from a local WalMart if you have one nearby.

This. Just buy a SIM at a B&M store. There are an increasing number of Cricket Wireless stores too, depending on where you live.

It works beautifully on Cricket for me. Like others said, it's just their website not knowing. LTE and voice calls are all great!
